Kustom Towing Inc was founded in 1979 in Summit Illinois. We are family owned and operated. Kustom Towing provides 24 hour light to heavy duty towing and recovery 7 days a week.

When your Vehicle or Equipment is disabled or in need of Towing we have the most up to date Towing and recovery equipment the industry has to offer to handle any challenging situation that may arise.
Whether it be a routine tow to a tractor trailer rolled over in a ditch or a trailer stuck under a bridge our trained professionals will quickly and safely respond to your needs. We have bobcats and forklifts available for any clean up situation 365 days a year.

Notice to all customers
- When retrieving your vehicle, please provide us with the required information listed below and we will make every effort to have you back on your way as quick as possible.
- All vehicles are stored in our secure storage lot. Our premises are monitored and patrolled 24/7.
- All police tows are payable by cash only. Checks & Credit Cards are not accepted to release a vehicle.

If your vehicle was towed by a police department or as result of an accident:
If you need to retrieve items from your vehicle, please call our office to make arrangements.
To release the vehicle, you will need the following:
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Vehicle must be driven off the lot by a driver with valid license
- Proof of Valid & Current Insurance
- Proof of Ownership (Owner must be present)
- Administrative paid receipt (If required)
- All police paperwork from the accident (Police / Accident Report)
There are no exceptions
If your vehicle has an administrative hold:
You must pay your administrative fee in person with the police department that called for the tow in order for it to be eligible for release.

I have been using Kustom Towing for years to tow vehicles damaged by collision. The service is excellent and I have never had any issues with Dave or his company. I see these reviews here and it seems people are taking out their frustrations on the tow company. It sucks having your car towed but the tow company didn’t decide to tow your car. They were called to provide a service and they delivered.
I’ve been having a lot of bad luck with my car this winter, but thankfully KT came to my rescue once again. Last weekend my car was parallel parked near Wrigleyville when it wouldn’t start, even with a jump. KT came out (Todd again!) and was able to maneuver my car out of a super tight spot in no time at all. And the price to tow it from Wrigley back to the South Side was a more fair price than I could have hoped for. KT is the best. But hopefully I won’t need another tow anytime soon!! 🙂
One of our semi trucks went down on 294 on Friday night at 6:38 pm. I called, they responded immediately (I swear they had red flashing light and a siren to get there so quickly) and had our driver, our truck and trailer safely back to their shop in about 1 1/2 hours.
